Echo sets: what to farm and when to stop
Main stat, then set, then substats — and the stop point most accounts blow past.
The order that actually matters
- Main stat on the cost-4 and cost-3 slots. Nothing else comes close.
- A complete set bonus, or two half-sets if the complete one is not available.
- Critical rate to roughly 60% including weapon and passives.
- Substats, and only then.
An echo with the correct main stat and no useful substats beats a perfect echo in the wrong slot. That is not close, and it does not become close later.
The stop point
Stop when every slot has the correct main stat and the set bonus is live. The improvement from continuing is real but small, and it costs the energy that would otherwise finish a second character — which is a far larger gain in a game where team composition matters more than any single build.
Tuning is not a slot machine
Tuning costs energy and produces a bounded improvement. Tune a piece you will keep for months; do not tune a piece you are farming to replace next week.
If you cannot say what stat you are farming for before you start, you are not farming. You are collecting.
