What this section covers

Character rankings, resonator priorities, relic targets and endgame team templates for Echoes of Nine.

Rankings target the three endgame modes — Ninefold Trial, Endless Chorus and Silent Vault — at full clear, because that is the content that actually separates characters. Everything in A and above walks through the overworld and the story without thinking, so ranking on that would put twenty units in one tier and tell you nothing at all.

Why speed dominates everything here

Combat is turn-based, so the contested resource is turns. A character who takes one extra turn per cycle contributes more than one with bigger numbers who acts less often. That is why supports outrank damage dealers on this page far more often than they would in an action game, and why every build section here opens with a speed breakpoint rather than a damage stat.

Every banner has a spark

Echoes is unusual: 240 convergences on a banner lets you exchange for the featured unit outright, luck aside. That single fact changes how you should save. The pull planner is configured with the real counter, so it tells you the honest worst case rather than the average one — and the worst case is the only number worth budgeting against.

Resonators and duplicates

Everything is ranked at zero duplicates with a four-star resonator. Where a character genuinely needs their signature resonator we say so in the entry, rather than quietly ranking a version of them you do not have.
